2025 SNIP and CHIP CLINICS

Snip-n-Chip Pet Clinic Registration

Kerrville Pets Alive! will host six low-cost Snip and Chip clinics in 2025. The clinics will be available to Kerr County Pet Owners who qualify. Services will include spay and neuter surgery, core vaccines and, a microchip. The cost will be $50 for cats and $100 for dogs (up to 90 lbs.). Pre-registration is required through a voucher system – 2 vouchers per household (every 2 years). Residents must present a valid photo ID – Texas ID card, Texas DL or Military ID and proof of low income – most recent pay stub, 2023 or 2024 W-2, tax return or government assistance such as food stamps or Medicaid.

“We believe that affordable and accessible pet veterinary care keeps pets home and safe with their owners and out of the shelter. This program supports our mission to Save Kerr County Pets from Euthanasia”, said a KPA! spokesperson.

KPA! salutes Town and Country Animal Hospital for providing clinic services and The City of Kerrville and Gravity Check Saloon for their sponsorship of these clinics. Registration for each KPA! SNIP & CHIP Clinic will be held at 2102 Memorial Blvd. in Kerrville from 9am-11am (Gates open at 8:30am- Earlier arrivals will not be accepted).  Pets do not need to be present at registration. Exact Cash, Checks, or Online payment will be offered as form of payment. (Registration location may be subject to change. See KPA! website and social media). Please bring pet medical records if available.

Once registered and approved, pet owners will be given clinic information and instructions.  The clinics will be held on date(s) following registration at Town and Country Animal Hospital in Kerrville.

 (Dogs over 90 lbs may require a higher fee. Email questions to cliniccoordinator@kerrvillepetsalive.com). All pets will be microchipped if not chipped already.
